OK, running late on my weekly blog update. Forgive me.

First, the Cowboys forgot to go to Minnesota for the playoff game last week. I am glad Minnesota got beat by New Orleans. I have a spot in my heart for New Orleans. I loved travelling to NO when I work for Myers. They will have to play better against Indianapolis if they want to win the Super Bowl.

I went to see Dr. Cohen on MLK Day. I broke a tooth the week before and Dr. C said I need a root canal and a crown. I had my first ever root canal today. It was not as bad as people said. Actually, I have had more pain from a regular filling.

T and I photograph the mother/son game night at the kid's school last week. We photographed about a third as many mothers/sons as we did father/daughters.

Saturday, I played in the Flasher Brass Alumni event. Kent St, pounded Akron 87-70. The alumni went to Ray's after the game. It was a good time. Then it was off to my niece's birthday party. It was a busy day. T took K to the Pinewood Derby. He finished 4th in his den and 3rd in Design. We will try harder next year.

K finished the wrestling season 1-6-1. He lost on Sunday and suffered his first 'slam' to the mat. I think it startled him and he was upset after the match. He is fine and will wrestle in the season ending tournament this Saturday.

Ok, now you are up to date.

Time for the weekly blog update.

It was exam week at school. The new semester begins next week, but first, we will take Monday off.

I don't know if this is the highlight to the week or not, but I broke a tooth this week. It was a molar and I will see the dentist tomorrow. A fun way to spend a day off.

T and I took pictures at the father/daughter dance on Friday. We photographer almost 90 dads and daughters. Now, the work begins, processing their orders.

The Cowboys play today in Minnesota. I will be able to see some of it before heading to wrestling. K is only 1-5 on the year, but he is improving each week. He is enjoying it.

I went to see Perry play Massillon in basketball last night with Mike Neckco.

B went on an O.N. on Friday. I haven't heard from her since. I think we are going to have to make a rule about checking in once a day when on an O.N.

Go Cowboys!

Perry and Mogadore had a snow day on Friday, so T made stuffed french toast. It is as good as it looks. I love having snow days because T makes the best breakfasts.

In the evening we, minus B, went to the Cleveland for the RV show. We had fun looking at the travel trailers and motor homes. As a family, we would be limited to bunkhouse campers. There were a few campers we loved and if we had an extra $25,000 we would purchase. But, for now, we love the camper we use now.

Today, the boys went sledding with Jackson and Turner. Afterwards, T and I took a group to see Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs. It is a cute movie. Everyone liked it.
Tonight, the Cowboys played in their first round playoff game against the bEagles. It looks like the 'Boys will win (34-14 late 4th quarter.) They will head to Minnesota next week for Round Two.
Til next time,
Bayou out.
How 'bout them Cowboys!

We went to visit our friends, the Lyons, for the weekend. They live about 80 miles from our house so the invited us to stay the night. We had a great visit. Food, friends and football. It doesn't get better than that.
Sunday we had to leave early and take K to wrestling. He lost. He looked tired. He still is learning and improving each week. We made it home in time to watch the Cowboys win the NFC East. They are ready to make the journey to Miami and Super Bowl XXIV. I wish I could just travel to big D for the game.
Back to school today and it wasn't that bad. It has been snowing all day. Maybe if it keeps snowing there will be a snow day. Never know.

Happy 2010
Time for a recap.
Christmas: Kids were up just before 8. Santa was good to them. We headed over to my parents house about 11:30. It was so nice not rushing around on Christmas morning. We spent a few hours with the family at mom and dad's. Again, Nana and Papa were very giving to the kids and T and I. Then it was off to T's parents. We opened gifts and had a great dinner. We are very blessed family.
We then I got sick. It started about 9:30pm and didn't stop until the morning of Dec. 27. B and K ended up sick as well.
K and I went to Manchester to watch the MHS wrestling team on Wednesday.
The family went to the Moores for New Year's Eve celebration. It was fun to spend the evening with them. The Witts stopped by as well. Hopefully, we all can go camping together next summer.
Today, we watched football. The Buckeyes beat the Ducks in the Rose Bowl. We also took down the tree and decorations. It is always sad to take everything down at the end of Christmas time. I will not turn off my Christmas light until I return to school. Heck, I might l;eave them on. I love see them at night on the back fence.
Happy 2010 from the Bayou!
